It is both encouraging and rewarding to see the students working on their own personal self expression of environmental concern. The students are also asked to add their own slogan or words. This process is similar to art journaling which incorporates the use of images and words for creative expression. I love the appreciation factor from these young minds who are hopeful for a more environmentally efficient tomorrow.
The children take this creative environmental challenge seriously because the finished pieces are add to the Eco-Lovely Program's collection to later be displayed as an art exhibit and book. Their work will later inspire another group's Eco-Badge creations in a future presentation.
It is not competition, but a group collaboration that makes contributing to this project interesting. Creating a better tomorrow, means working to together to fuse our hopes for a world that is more peaceful, tolerant and mindfully designed with intelligent care. This project will one day be displayed in a book. Yes, I am collecting the words and wishes of these children for a more caring future.
