Introduction
Creating kid's art activities is something that comes easily to me. I love to teach upcycled projects to kids of all ages. I love to see how they will re-decorate, recreate and embellish with my papers and images, what becomes their own handmade treasures. With little emphasis put on art in current school systems, workshops like mine are a treat for the hungry creative mind. Filled with play, encouragement to imagine, and permission to are simple joys that are often neglected in today's lifestyle. However, it is during this artistic process that the brain comes alive. In this space, present moment awareness for children is possible, along with an opportunity to express their own innate uniqueness.
