Today I spent the morning photographing and observing a March Break Break camp held by Valuable Lessons. My kids went in with a little less than postive attitude and left smiling. One notable take away was that interaction with children of many different ages in the name of building confidence was the achieved.
" The goal of our workshops is to give your child the advantage of excelling at several of the life skills that we rely on every day, yet rarely take extra time to practice.
The Research and Development Department at Valuable Lessons has chosen specific life skills (The Valuable Keys) that, when combined with good character, unlock the doors to success." - Valuable Lessons
As a Mom observing the children's interactions, I was pleased to see them answering questions about themselves they might not have ever thought of on their own. Being guided through a sequence of self expression activities I saw them not only open up but also treat each other with respect. The tone of the entire two days left me feeling as if my son and daughter came away with a greater understanding of confidence and communication.
