Thinking back to my "best of" memories of 2008, I am
compelled to share this life changing experience. While 2008 was a year I improved my eating
habits and got into shape, one of the life altering highlights for me was
attending a four day event with one of my mentors Tony Robbins. I had seen Mr.
Robbins before at a Power Within Event where he spoke for a shorter time. Needless
to say this event was so much more intense as I walked on fire, danced in the
aisles and created positive psychological anchors to access creative flow. Yes,
the experience was defiantly my cup of tea because there was just so much that
I am into that melded together into one beautiful self improvement event. While
my husband and I could have spent the same money on a vacation or spa visit, we
both later said that we could not put a price on the whole buffet of mind
engagement. My husband and I were so buzzed, we became more aligned as the event approached.
Since going, I have used many of the things taught daily such as the anchoring
technique. I use one to get me into an energized mode at the gym. Tony ended
his speech on the last day by encouraging us to now give back what we had
learned. I thought of this as I organized a small food bank collection drive
this past Christmas, something I had always wanted to do!
